Tomorrow is the first day of spring! This is my time, I love Spring into Summer one of the reasons I live in California!
This is me (Lilia) with my daughter Kayla. Since I'm always behind the camera, I hardly ever get a picture with my 3 kids! Bad I know. My goal this year is to be in the picture! Thanks hubby for taking this great shot. I do make sure we have family portraits every year no excuses. Like I have said before its so important to stop time just for a little bit. Spring is the best time to get your photos with your loved ones. Don't wait!

Why Spring photos? Many reasons- these are perfect gifts for Mother's Day. Grandparents love portraits of their favorite people! Their Grandchildren.
You will have fond memories of your children you can actually hold. As they grow you can look back and remember when they were sweet! I look at my Daughter and my oldest Son (he's 11 now) and to see a portrait of them how they were is truly priceless. Those chubby cheeks... Even if they are in their teen years its such a different time in your child's life and that's a reason to capture it all.

The birth of my blog has been a long time coming, I have so much to write about!

Last year was my first time venturing out on my own in the world of Business/Photography. Without making this a 5 page blog, I decided when I was pregnant with my third child there was no better time than the present to start my own thing.

The first step was to get the support from my great Husband. After all, he has been working hard for our family this whole time while I work hard at home raising our children. He was in. Then I had to smooth over my close friend of 11 plus years who is not only a GREAT Photographer (that's saying it lightly) without her I wouldn't be able to work with Brides and Groom's the way they deserve to be treated on my own-I needed her! We are the perfect pair for Weddings which I will get into later. She was in.

That was back in May, and we just finished our first Bridal Show- the last one we did was 5 years ago. The above image is a replica of our banner and Gift card we passed out. I feel like it was a success through our personal approach with all the excited Brides and Groom's. Rita and I were able to give away more than a postcard. Call for details on our Gift Card! It was nice to see these couples supported by their parents and bridal party. It's a great time to plan a Wedding!

On my next post I will be writing about spring photos and why you shouldn't wait any longer to stop time with your children and or family members!
